Man has dreamed of mastering his psychic, ecological and virtual environment, through a frantic race against any form of limit, whether of time, of space, of resources or of the body. The current situation undermines the narrative of man as center of the universe, as he is forced to acknowledge that he is peripheral in relation to what he presumed to dominate. Would the parental generation thus be paying tribute to adolescents for saving them from humiliation? How, then, can one inhabit one’s body and psyche, if the promised future is the end screen?
L’Homme a rêvé la maîtrise de son environnement psychique, écologique et virtuel, au travers d’une course effrénée contre toute forme de limites du temps, de l’espace, de ses ressources et de son corps. La situation actuelle met en crise ce récit de l’Homme comme centre des cosmogonies, alors qu’il est forcé de constater son statut périphérique face à ce qu’il avait la présomption de dominer. La génération parentale ferait-elle ainsi payer en tribut à l’adolescence la sauvegarde de son humiliation ? Alors, comment « habiter » son corps et sa psyché, si l’avenir promis est l’écran d’une fin ?
