La adolescencia, transición de la dinámica, habitualmente constructiva, desde la infancia a la edad adulta, es a veces fuente de fragilidades por remodelamiento púber inherente y la reactualización de una emergencia pulsional puesta de antemano durante el sueño. Este movimiento no implica siempre la vitalidad esperada, confrontando ciertos sujetos a una posible maduración, abriendo la perspectiva del suicidio como herramienta a este impasse evolutivo. Aquí se expone el enfoque original que Freud pudo desarrollar sobre los mecanismos subyacentes de ciertas conductas suicidas, a través del caso de un paciente, cuya repetición de gestos suicidas marcara la adolescencia con una tensión entre un proceso mortífero llegando a su destrucción, y un intento de supervivencia en su última readaptación.

An original light of what Freud has before developed about underlying mechanisms of some particular suicide attempts is proposed throughout the history of a patient whose repetition of suicide attempts inscribes adolescence in a tension between a mortified process aiming at her destruction and an attempt of survival in the ultimate appropriation of herself.
